We'll start with a short\, engaging presentation on the history of Mexican mercados and small business culture   exploring how markets have brought communities together for generations and what it takes to run your very own puesto (market stall).\n\nThen\, with the help of volunteers from a local Latino college student organization\, you will design and build your own miniature shoebox market stall   choosing a business like a fruit stand\, bakery\, taco stand\, or flower shop\, and decorating it to make it their own!
