DESCRIPTION:Ever wonder what life really is like in Cuba?\n\n \n\nYou're invited to hear Dr. Mario Masvidal Saavedra\, a professor of history and Cuban culture\, talk about "Life and Education in Cuba: Past and Present" from 2-3 p.m. Thursday\, Nov. 19 at the Quad-Cities Campus in\n\n \n\nDr. Masvidal is a professor in the Linguistics Department with the University of the Arts in Havana. In addition to teaching\, he hosts a radio talk show and participates in four Cuban television programs.\n\n \n\nHis visit comes as a result of the trip BHC president Dr. Bettie Truitt and other Illinois community college leaders made to Cuba last February.
