Classes are 9 am - 5:30 pm. Wednesday\, April 6 Monday\, April 11 - IN SPANISH Wednesday\, October 5 For restaurants and foodservice managers and workers\, ServSafe is the food safety certification course developed by the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation and is one of several recognized by the Conference on Food Protection. The 8-hour course concludes with a certification exam. Iowa regulations require the person in charge of a foodservice to have demonstrated knowledge of food safety principles\; ServSafe certification is one way to demonstrate this knowledge. Certificates are valid for five years. Participants receive a course book. Cost is $150 for Non-IRA members and $100 for IRA members.
