SUMMARY:Volunteer Opportunities
DESCRIPTION:UnityPoint Health-Trinity is looking for volunteers!\nAre you a creative person? Do you enjoy fundraising events and activities? Would you like to put talents to use as a Project Manager or Activities Director some day? Well\, then look no further! The Friends of Trinity Committee\, at UnityPoint Health-Trinity\, is the fundraising branch of our volunteer pool that is looking for some new faces with creative ideas to join their team! Committee members are responsible for planning fundraising events offered throughout the organization. This can include internal events (like which local vendors to bring in to our Gift Shops\, or which vendors to bring on-site for a vendor sale) as well as external events that are much larger in scale. Those external events need volunteers who are willing to connect with community partners to secure sponsorships\, plan entertainment\, determine keynote speakers\, create raffle baskets\, etc. They also discuss how their profits can be used throughout the organization to make an impact for patients and staff alike. We also ask our committee members to serve as active volunteers of the organization so that they can see first-hand how their ideas make an impact. So\, if you desire to move into a leadership role one day\, need to have committee involvement or community service hours on your resume\, or are just looking for something fun to do outside of classwork\, this is an excellent opportunity for you! The Friends of Trinity Committee meets every other month\, so the time commitment is fairly minimal.\n\n \n\nIf you would rather just volunteer in the hospital\, helping to transport patients to their appointments\, run errands throughout the hospital (like delivering food trays or flowers to patients)\, answer calls\, or provide needed supplies to patients on a unit\, we could use your help in those areas too. Interested volunteers (aged 14-years and up)\, whether it's on the committee or as an on-site volunteer\, can check out the services we have available by clicking the following link: Quad Cities Volunteer Opportunities | UnityPoint Health. You can apply on-line from that site\, or simply jump to the on-line application by clicking here. Any questions can be directed to the Volunteer Coordinator's office: 309-779-2211\, or via e-mail: QC_Volunteers@unitypoint.org and we would be happy to assist.\n\n \n\nI know we all want to make this a great community to live in and believe our volunteers can make a huge difference! Please consider joining our team of fun volunteers!
