On June 12-13 the Putnam’s Space Weekend will feature the ISU FLEx, a mobile learning program including virtual reality, 3D printing, augmented reality and more! Enjoy hands on activities and educational materials from the Popular Astronomy Club, Quad Cities Astronomical Society, and Putnam Education Team. Outside, you’ll be able to explore the Popular Astronomy Club Mobile Observatory (PACMO) and possibly view the sun - like this guest at a previous space-themed event hosted by the Putnam. The event will also include expert speakers Dino Milani (Vice President of Popular Astronomy Club) and Dr. Paul Sipiera (Professor Emeritus of Geology and Astronomy from William Rainey Harper College). Gateway to Space Weekend was made possible thanks to NASA and The Iowa Space Grant Consortium.
