Bryan Christopherson, a local Flood Mitigation Specialist with Smart Vent, will be offering education and resources to local realtors and community on how to sell a home in a flood zone.  He will discuss floodproofing options that impact both residential and commercial properties in flood zones.  During this class you will  learn how to qualify for some of the lowest flood insurance premium possible, through appropriate flood mitigation. 

Homeowners cannot sustain repeated losses and communities cannot afford to lose property tax revenue when home values plummet due to flood risk and lack of adequate remediation, and for this very reason we must educate flood-zone communities on prevention.
