Mercado On Fifth

Frances Williams, a Moline native who spent the last 24 years in Denver, Colorado, was hired in January 2024 as Mercado’s new Executive Director. Williams’ work experience includes 3.5 years with Mi Casa Resource Center a Latino serving organization, launching three of her own businesses as and nearly 20 years in financial services. Frances is of Colombian descent and fluent in Spanish. Her love, pride and passion for culture fueled Frances to find ways to support her Latino community at home and abroad.  Frances has been to most Latin American countries.
